I’m Vince Van de Poel, from Geleen, the drummer for Morganas Illusion.

My equipment is a 1972 premier Slingerland drum kit which is rather creaky, but it’s vintage, and it sounds vintage.

I started playing drums when I was seven years old. Growing up, I had to follow my brothers to all their shows and I swore that I would never play in a band. However, when Bas and Sia wanted to start Morganas Illusion and needed a drummer, I said why not, I want to do this and that is how it started.
